Greetings all hypnotists and soon-to-be hypnotists!
Welcome to HypNLP! This is the blog that will cover the fun and exciting journey of two hypnotists in the making, Nate and Oleg (me). We will try to get you involved too with various challenges and assignments.
So.. first things first, lets set some goals. I’ve learned that if you set yourself goals beforehand and write them down somewhere (especially publicly), there is a better chance of you reaching that goal. It has been proven over and over again yet many people choose to ignore its importance (I’ll explain psychological background in a future post). Be sure to pick goals that actually do something. “Learn to put someone into a trance” is not a goal since it accomplished nothing. Why do you want to put someone in a trance? Who do you want to help?
So here are our current goals -
Goal #1 - Fix Adrian
He is a very smart kid but doesn’t talk at all. He is the most passive person I’ve ever known. If we can make him more assertive, he will get very far in life.
Goal #2 - Cure my allergy
I have an allergy to dustmites, which exist absolutely everywhere. What does this mean to me? Year round stuffy nose.
Goal #3 - Radiate an emotion
Today’s society is becoming more and more work oriented which apparently leads to stress and unhappiness. Being able to make others happy out of thin air is a great skill to have.
Goal #4 - Rewire emotions on events
Best way to explain this is with an example. Currently - Your alarm clock buzzes. You hit the snooze button and really don’t want to get up. After - You wake up before your alarm clock, anxious for the day to begin.
Goal #5 - Lucid dream on demand
Lucid Dream - Your sleeping and experiencing a dream. In the dream, you realize that you are dreaming. A tingling sensation sweeps over your body and you can now do anything in your dream world. You can fly, eat food, play for your favorite team, do anything you can image and its all 10x as good as in real life.
It would be great if we could bring about lucid dreams whenever we wanted to.
What are your goals? I want you to write them down on either a piece of paper or leave a comment below.
Until next time,
-Oleg

I have been to 3 different Hypnotherapists and listened to dozens of tapes and CD’s with negative results every time.
” I want to have CONFIDENCE”
Nice work Oleg. I like that you wrote down your goals. If you’ve been studying Cialdini you know that writing your goals creates an instinctual need for consistency.
As for the posting by Tom on January 23, in my experience, and it’s massive in comparison to Tom’s, it usually takes time to create change in someone’s confidence level. Sometimes it requires going to the source of where you learned that you should be without confidence. Our Subconscious mind is only doing what it has learned, to feel good, even if it is only a fleeting temporary relief, rather than a continuing good feeling.
And sometimes working with the right hypnotist will work wonders.
There is a teleseminar coming up with Mark Cunningham, one of the best hypnosis trainers in the world. You will be able to ask your questions about hypnosis and NLP with the master himself. I wouldn’t want to miss it.
Contact me if you want to get more info on it.
