Continuation of Understand You Mind - Part 1

So now that you understand the basics of the mind and how each one functions, its time to relate this to hypnosis.

Unlock Your MindAs mentioned in Part 1, there is something called the critical factor that is located in the conscience part of your mind. This critical factor’s job is to deflect any unwanted suggestions from entering the subconscience’s permanent memory. It takes in everything we say, if it thinks that its a viable suggestion, it passes it down to the subconscience. More often than not, the critical factor just throws aside our suggestions. A hypnotists job is to get around this critical factor and speak to the subconscience directly.

When a person goes into a trance, his critical factor takes a break. How far away the critical factor is depends on the deepness of trance. The deeper a person is, the further away the critical bypass, increasing suggestibility. Somnambulism is ideal for firing off suggestions for the subconscience. Now the subconscience gets to pick and choose from all the suggestions you gave it instead of only the ones the critical bypass decided to pass along.

What kind of suggestions can we give that will work? Almost anything related to your body. Emotions, actions, and habits and all encompassed. There are countless things that you can change in your body and mind to completely improve yourself. What the mind believes tends to be realized.
