There are, as we know, 5 states of trance. Each one has its own functions and purposes. The one we always strive to achieve to give suggestions is somnambulism. Here they are with a brief description of what they are and if they are used for anything.
Hypnoidal
This is the lightest state of trance. The closing of the eyes, relaxing of the body, and focusing in on somebody’s voice. Not very suggestive.
Medium Trance
Catalepsy of small group of muscles through suggestion. Can be used for small suggestions.
Somnambulism
Working level of trance. Where a person has to be to do whatever you have to do with the person. Critical factor bypassed.
Coma
State of complete euphoria. No worries or problems. Does not accept suggestions.
Ultra-Depth
State where the individual’s own Subconscious does the work necessary to facilitate the physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual healing. More on Ultra Depth
